CM SHEPHERD

Hi! I’m Caitlyn! Originally a California girl, I'm currently based in NYC and daylight as a neurodivergent PhD student while working in higher education. By night, I weave my background in history, education, and archival research into my fictional worlds.

 

I was on a bowling league as a kid, but spent more time between the pages of books than I did practicing my aim (which is probably why my dream of being an author won out over professional bowling). I'm a voracious black tea drinker, sweet treat after every meal kind of gal, and spend an unhealthy amount of time dreaming up new worlds and escaping into them.

I'm a Cancer sun, moon, and rising, INFJ, and am the eldest daughter with seven siblings (and definitely bring that Type A mothering energy to every function). If I ever leave the house without my planner, emotional support water bottle, or chapstick, I've been body snatched and please send help.
